Isaac'e 3rd Birthday

 Making the cake together has been a good ol' Williams tradition.  We always get a little bit of the batter before cooking it.

 

Slovenia Trip April 2013

Ike was amazing and planned a weekend away to Slovenia.  Nothing exciting happened on the trip.  The main point was to go, relax and enjoy being a family.  I think we did just that.

 We got to watch a man use the printing press.  He is sealing the wax in this picture.

 This was in the Castle at Lake Bled.  Those boys loved the armor.

 James loved riding a bike again.  This was his favorite part of the trip.

Jana was in horse heaven.  She loved those horses and enjoyed the girls helping.

  A tour of the beehive just behind where we stayed.  We took notes and all.  What fun! Learning all about bees and eating their honey.  I even held a bee filled honeycomb.

The flowers were so colorful and showed God's unique beauty in all of them.

 The children enjoyed the cows.  Jana even helped clean out the stalls.

 Poor Isaac wasn't sitting in his chair correctly and fell underneath scratching his lip.  The funny thing about it was a young couple with two small children (3yrs and 18 mo) suggested we use a high chair for him.  We, proud parents of four, knew he could sit in a "regular" chair because he does at home. Sure wished we would have listened to the younger couple whom, we thought, were being cautious.  Now who has the child who is hurt:(  Poor baby.  He lived tell about it:) and has learned to sit in his chair...at least the ones in Slovenia.

 I thought it was so funny seeing the cow in such a small area.  It looked like a garage.

 Going out to the island.  Samantha was a bit afraid and would not let go of me.  She braved it out and we made it to the island.  A little screaming here and there, but after she understood we would not tip, she was able to use a little more self control.

 We each got to ring the bell in the church at Lake Bled.  Very Cool!

 

 

 Homeward bound.  Tried to get us back before the rain hit us.  He DID succeed.  That's my man.

 We took this train for 17 euro for about 1/4 of a mile.  We thought it was a fun taxi.  Little did we know it was suppose to take us around the entire area of Lake Bled for that 17 Euro.  NO wonder he looked at us funny when we were yelling at him to stop so we could get off 1/4 of a mile away.  Next time I think we'll ask how far it goes.
